SUPERNATURAL GIFTS
ABILITIES
Transformations - Werewolves are forced to endure a grueling transformation into a wolf like beast every full moon. The transformation is extremely traumatic, causing the werewolf's bones to break and reshape, the skin to tear and reform into an extremely tough hide covered in fur. While in this state, werewolves possess far greater physical attributes. They are immensely strong, and can move at faster speeds than most animals, their senses are even further enhanced, and they possess near limitless stamina and endurance. The transformation also initiates a healing process that allows werewolves to heal all injuries while transformed.
Shift Control - Lux is able to shift into his werewolf form whenever he wants without relying on the phases of the moon.
Beast Control - Lux is in complete control of himself when he changes into his werewolf form, and because of it he remembers everything that happens while he is transformed.
Enhanced Vitality - In human form, werewolves, even if they are an old age have the stamina, strength, vitality and capabilities of a human in their physical prime. A mutt werewolf's strength increases when the full moon is near, to the point that they can even match very old vampires physically. Purebred werewolves seemingly have this vitality all the time due to being mentally and metaphysically closer to their wolf than regular werewolves are. This makes them able to physically exert themselves for hours, before eventually becoming exhausted and needing rest.
Enhanced Strength - Werewolves are incredibly physically strong, both when transformed and in human form, though their strength waxes and wanes with the moon, being incredibly powerful the three days prior to the full moon. A werewolf in its wolf form is one of the physically strongest supernatural beings known. Werewolves have the strength to shove, strike and grab humans of seemingly higher muscle mass and size and with staggering, stunning, or incapacitating force and can easily overpower humans. It depends on natural size and mass to determine a werewolf's strength over another, as a larger body build as a human would transfer over to their wolf form as well.
Enhanced Senses - Werewolves have a well-developed sense of smell, which also intensifies in the 3 days before and a few hours after the full moon. They are able to smell other Werewolves, Vampires, and might even be able to smell the demonic blood of a Cursed One. They can smell what someone ate hours prior and can tell when someone is aroused, helping them distinguish a person's sexuality. Werewolves also can see perfectly in the dark when they are in their wolf form. Their hearing is also enhanced, being able to hear things blocks away if they open themselves up to it.
Enhanced Speed - In wolf form, werewolves are faster than humans. When close to the full moon, they are able to quickly run across long distances and can rapidly catch up to others in a chase.
Clairvoyance - As supernatural creatures, Werewolves can see and hear ghosts the same way Vampires and other ghosts can. This ability to perceive ghosts only takes effect after a werewolf's first transformation.
Enhanced Healing - During their transformations, a werewolf's ability to heal is enhanced. This healing factor allows them to survive their transformations, and is likely the reason why they do not suffer traumatic injuries like skin ripping or skeletal damage from transforming. Consequently, it is extremely difficult to slow down a transformed werewolf with anything less than silver or electricity. Werewolves have shown to heal minor wounds like scratches, and non fatal injuries done by silver or electricity could take a few days to heal.
Teeth and Claws - While they are transformed, werewolves possess extremely sharp claws and wicked fangs. A Werewolf's greatest weapons are its sharp teeth and sharp claws which can rend through most materials, including steel, wood, and easily ripping apart human flesh. The saliva from a Werewolf bite is fatal to a Vampire, and will kill them after 3 days of being infected.
WEAKNESSES
Silver - Silver is very harmful to Werewolves; direct contact with silver burns werewolves skin, and silver-inflicted wounds take much longer for werewolves to heal if they were non-fatal.
Electricity - Electricity is very harmful to Werewolves; as it can fry and burn their skin. For one reason or another, Werewolves do not regenerate as quickly from electrocution injuries.
Wolfsbane - Werewolves are allergic to the herb and it causes them to sneeze, watery eyes, and can dull their senses and power when ingested.
Mortality - As they are living beings, it is technically possible to kill Werewolves in mundane ways such as; decapitation, suffocation, bludgeoning, impalement; although werewolves are much more resilient against mundane methods of killing when in wolf form.
STORY SO FAR
Sergeant Bryant was the first child born to Natasha and Caleb Bryant, a few years later he'd be followed up by his baby brothers Duke and Lucas who were twins. Lux always knew he wasn't like other children, as he was born with gifts that normal human beings didn't have. Growing up his father taught him everything it meant to be a werewolf, he was taught to be proud of it and not to resist that side of himself. Lux would carry those lessons with him into adulthood, becoming one with his wolf unlike many of his kind typically did. Lux was even more unique than his father, as both of them were able to shift whenever they wanted to and weren't cursed by the full moon. However, Lux was also able to control his beast when he shifted, something that his father hadn't even heard of before. Lux's mother was also a werewolf, though she wasn't able to control her beast or when she shifted. Lux lived vicariously through her, and saw how the force of a change could make a life so tough. Where his father embraced what they were, his mother did not.
Lux always prided himself on being an older brother. He wanted to help the twins with whatever he could, and wanted to teach them things first. Sometimes it got to the point that little Lux would even get mad at his parents for showing Lucas and Duke something before Lux could. It was even Lux's fault that they were potty-trained so quickly. Their father was the leader to a pack and owned a car shop called Bryant Auto & Repair where many of the pack members would work and Natasha worked at the World Trade Center. When he was 9 years old, the towers were attacked destroyed by terrorists flying domestic airplanes into them. That was the day Lux lost his mother. He and his brothers were sent home from school, staying at home with their father while they watched the news Lux would never forget the events of that day. The image of the plane crashing into the tower, the smoke and fire, and his father frantically talking to people on the phone. But the thing Lux wouldn't be able to forget the most was how each hour felt without hearing from his mother, or getting word that she made it out. The loss of his mother, and what happened to his country is the reason he would enlist in the army once he was 18.
After Natasha's death, Lux started to act out. He didn't listen to his father and it just grew worse the older he got. He started to get in a lot of fights in and out of school, started messing around with drinking and drugs and through all the darkness Lux found something to help anchor him - dance. He met some kids at school who were a part of a street crew and they offered him to come check it out. Lux did and thankfully, now with a focus, he stopped acting out so badly. He had a passion, even if street dancing got a bit crazy at times. Once he graduated though, he knew exactly what he was going to do. It was time to enlist in the army. Lux joined the Army Rangers and climbed the ranks over the years until eventually making it to Rank E-5 as Sergeant. Lux was known as a brilliant and capable man, garnishing a lot of respect and perhaps even a tad bit of fame among his fellow soldiers. When he had the chance to join the Delta Force, Lux jumped at the opportunity. He was always so focused on terrorism, so to be able to join a special forces unit primarily focused on counter-terrorism? It was Lux's dream. He went on many special missions, but when news reached him that one of his brothers were killed Lux went back home.
His father was a mess, and couldn't lead the pack any longer. He was a raging alcoholic who had lost the family auto shop and no one in the pack respected him anymore. They were terrified, scared of what was to come because Lucas' death seemed to be done intently by a werewolf hunter. This left Lux with picking up the slack, taking over the pack with an iron fist. When more wolves showed up dead, it became clear that it wasn't just one hunter. Not two. It was a huge group of them that had existed for decades, they called themselves the "Silver Hand." The pack was forced to flee, and Lux took them to the Appalachian Mountains. They wouldn't stay in one spot for two long, moving throughout the mountains. That's how they'd live for a couple years, under the radar.
While the pack was living in North Carolina they met a girl and her brother, one was a wolf and neither knew what that exactly meant. They were scared, at first Lux was ready to rip the foreign wolf in their territory a new one but when he saw she didn't know how anything worked. She had never had a pack. Lux offered to let her join his, and give her solace. He assured her brother that he would keep her safe, and that he could keep in contact with her. It was sometime after her brother leaving that the pack was found and attacked by another organization - The SIA. There were so many of them, they used electricity and silver. Many of the pack were brutally killed, the rest being taken by the SIA to be used as their "hounds." Lux didn't know who made it, and who didn't aside from his father who he watched an agent decapitate with a silver machete. Anger fueled Lux and while they tried to brainwash him, he wasn't easily broken thanks to his time in the army and DELTA Force. Lux used the few months he was captive to learn how they operated, to figure out what gadgets they had and who they actually were. Lux had heard of the SIA, but never knew much beyond those initials. Apparently it stood for Supernatural Intel Agency - go figure. Eventually some SIA agents slipped up and Lux got free. The man single handedly fought his way out of their headquarters and escaped off into the dark. Apparently he was in Crawford City, Massachusetts.
