TWO CURSED CHARACTERS PER PLAYER. You will need admin approval for any Cursed character having their abilities above D-Rank.
The Cursed are individuals who aren't completely human. Documentation of demons having intercourse with humans go back thousands of years ago. It's unknown who was the first human cursed with being half demon. Its a uncommon instance for a demon to possess a human on earth, and even more rare for them to impregnate a woman. About one in every ten women actually conceive a baby from relations with a possessed individual, and then only about one in every three babies manage to be born. This is because the human body isn't made to carry such corruption, so it rejects the life inside of it. During pregnancy the woman usually is quite aware something isn't right with their baby. They feel more than just sickness, they can feel the darkness growing inside of them.
Once the child is born, things seem normal up until they get into their toddler years. Cursed tend to have dark fascinations, hatred, and anger by default. While the Cursed is half human, it is also half demon. What this means, is that while they have an evil inside of them they also could have good thanks to their human side. In a way the demon half of the individual is it's own personality and being, one that whispers or talks to human half. The human half usually has more control over their body and themselves, as long as they keep the demon buried down and not give into temptations. The demon's goal is always to be in control and the taint the soul of their human side as much as possible. In the end most Cursed give in to their dark side and either give the demon control or come to an understanding with it.
A Cursed One dies and can be injured as a normal human being can be, at least if their special ability doesn't negate that. They can have a variety of powers. You must fill out an Ability Application or get permission to use one that is already created, in order to create one of the Cursed. A Cursed one's abilities are usually quite bizarre or feel "dark" in their own right.
While the SIA are aware of demons and know of the existence of the Cursed, they actually haven't had much experience running into them. At least not in the lifetimes of those currently in the organization. They are considered incredibly dangerous and while eradication is their initial response, they also want to capture some of the Cursed to study them.
It's possible for the demon to take control of the Cursed completely. Some Cursed who have learned to be one with their demonic half can learn to stay in control in this state. When in this form they are incredibly powerful, and gain abilities they wouldn't have normally. When entering this stage the Cursed One's eyes will become completely black, red, purple, or white. The color of their eyes does not determine how powerful they are. Their voice will have another darker and more sinister voice speaking with them in unison, creating a demonic harmonized effect.
There are a handful of abilities all Cursed share, it's possible to learn how to use these when not in their demonic form but it takes a lot of practice.
Super Strength - The Cursed become supernaturally powerful, able to perform feats that most humans could not. They can match the strength of some vampires but not quite as strong as a werewolf.
Telekinesis - The Cursed is able to throw things with their mind or lift themselves or others into the air. They are about as strong as a level 2 Pusher.
Pyrokinesis - The Cursed is able to manipulate fire and create it with their minds. They are about as strong as a level 2 Burner.
