IMMORTALS
You must have admin approval in order to create an immortal.
Beings that do not age, immortals are often mistaken for as Gods. Though some Gods and mythologies may just be stories, some are derived from true tales or beings. Humanity began to come up with their own reasons for the existence of the sun, moon, stars, and weather. Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and other mythologies grew and died over the years due to special individuals with powerful gifts. Many are as old as the oldest civilizations and some are generations sired by other immortals. However, not many exist any longer either having vanished or died at some point in time. What exactly created the immortals is not known, as even the Gods seem confused by their existence. Some of the Gods have a strong disdain towards immortals, as they believe Valak is the one responsible for their existence.
Immortals can be good or evil, and will share some power and story with their mythological counterparts. As lore is developed for different mythologies around the world, it will be added to this post so that the information is easily accessed for those looking to add their own touch to the mythology with their own immortal character.
Powers vary greatly when it comes to an immortal, every single one will be a special case and will need to be looked over by the head admin. In most cases it is possible for them to die, despite their name, they just have the potential to live forever.
GREEK
Greek mythology is the body of myths originally told by the ancient Greeks, and a genre of Ancient Greek folklore. These stories concern the origin and nature of the world, the lives and activities of deities, heroes, and mythological creatures, and the origins and significance of the ancient Greeks' own cult and ritual practices. Modern scholars study the myths to shed light on the religious and political institutions of ancient Greece, and to better understand the nature of myth-making itself.
The war between Titans and Olympians took place, with the Olympians winning. Zeus became tyrannical and labeled himself as the ruler of the gods and men. He kidnapped many humans and took them to the realm of Olympus where he made them slaves for the Greek immortals. After being tricked by Prometheus, Zeus decided to make humanity pay the price and sent Pandora with her box of evils to marry Prometheus' brother, Epimetheus, and afterwards she opened the jar out of curiosity and it released all the darkness.
Prometheus left Olympus and found a woman that he fell in love with and impregnated. She became deadly ill and Prometheus turned to magic for help, but the Gods would not aid an immortal. Deciding it was unfair how the Gods chose who got to use magic and who could benefit from it, Prometheus stole the Eternal Flame which was just pure magic. He gave it to many humans on earth and in turn created what we now know as natural witches. The Gods punished Prometheus by chaining him to the top of Mount Olympus and allowing birds to feed from him daily. Zeus ordered no one was to help Prometheus and spent many days mocking and taunting the immortal while he was tormented.

EGYPTIAN
Egyptian mythology is the collection of myths from ancient Egypt, which describe the actions of the Egyptian gods as a means of understanding the world around them. The beliefs that these myths express are an important part of ancient Egyptian religion. Myths appear frequently in Egyptian writings and art, particularly in short stories and in religious material such as hymns, ritual texts, funerary texts, and temple decoration. These sources rarely contain a complete account of a myth and often describe only brief fragments.
NORSE
Norse or Scandinavian mythology is the body of myths of the North Germanic peoples, stemming from Norse paganism and continuing after the Christianization of Scandinavia, and into the Scandinavian folklore of the modern period. The northernmost extension of Germanic mythology and stemming from Proto-Germanic folklore, Norse mythology consists of tales of various deities, beings, and heroes derived from numerous sources from both before and after the pagan period, including medieval manuscripts, archaeological representations, and folk tradition.
CHRISTIAN
Christian mythology is the body of myths associated with Christianity. The term encompasses a broad variety of legends and narratives, especially those considered sacred narratives. Mythological themes and elements occur throughout Christian literature, including recurring myths such as ascending to a mountain, the axis mundi, myths of combat, descent into the Underworld, accounts of a dying-and-rising god, a flood myth, stories about the founding of a tribe or city, and myths about great heroes (or saints) of the past, paradises, and self-sacrifice.
Yahweh was a very powerful natural witch who surpassed all other magic users, harnessing the power of creation and being able to access all abilities that a natural witch can have. He created the angels and declared himself the one true God. The first five archangels made were Lucifer and Michael, the twins, and then Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel. He wanted to use his angels to take out other deities and also spread his word to humanity. Wanting to try and win over the population, he declared all angels must bow to the humans and Lucifer did not like this. Lucifer also found out about the other Gods beforehand and started to question Yahweh. He turned multiple angels against their father and rebelled and started a war within Heaven. Michael was gifted a special sword from Yahweh, that was fused with the archangels soul, and he used it to cast Lucifer to earth.
More battles took place on earth and Michael sealed Lucifer in a cage before casting it into Hell. Afterwards the angels were sent by God to destroy the other immortals, which he told them were false Gods and those trying to take his place. The angels wiped out many immortals, of cultures and mythologies we would never know and the angels would gain the reputation of being the "God Killers". Yahweh then went missing, leaving his angels to continue their work without him.
