ABILITY
Ability Name: Hydrokinesis
General Description: Hydrokinesis is the ability to control and manipulate water at will. The user, with practice, can manipulate water in its solid, liquid, and gaseous forms. However, the ability does not allows the user to change water’s form (they cannot melt ice or evaporate water). Hydrokinesis also allows the user to manipulate the water directly around them, allowing them to essentially “breathe” underwater.
D-Rank: The user can manipulate very small amounts of water, mostly in the form of small ripples and waves. The user can also breathe under water in small increments of time, up to thirty minutes. Much like water itself, the user’s control is very volatile and requires extreme focus. The user can manipulate roughly a gallon of water at one time.
C-Rank: At this rank, the user has a firmer grasp over small amounts of water, creating intricate designs and movement through dedicated control.. It is still highly possible for the user to lose control of water if they lose focus. The user can breathe underwater for up to one hour. The user can control a volume of water roughly equivalent to a full bathtub.
B-Rank: At this rank, the user can manipulate liquid water with ease and is beginning to control water in its other two forms, though their level of control is essentially reset to D-rank in these forms. The user is able to breathe underwater for up to 24 hours. The user can control a volume of water roughly equivalent to an average swimming pool.
A-Rank: At this rank, the user can cause serious damage with liquid water, projecting jets of water at a target with concussive force. They have moderate control over ice and water vapor, creating dangerous ice shards and heavy fog. At this point, controlling water has become as natural as breathing and requires much less focus. The user can easily spend up to one month underwater and can control a volume of water roughly equivalent to a small lake.
S-Rank: The power of the oceans is at the user’s fingertips. They can create massive tsunamis and tidal waves with a flick of the wrist, form shields and weapons made of solid ice, and could easily live underwater for the rest of their life.
