I stay up all night, tell myself I'm alrightBaby, you're just harder to see than most
Name: Evan Thorburn
Species: Psychic | Speaker
Age: Mid to Late 20s (Older than Daxton)
Play-By: Jack Falahee
Sexuality: Homosexual or Bisexual
Job: Writer (Side jobs are open since he probably does something to make money, since his writing most likely doesn't.)I put the record on, wait 'til I hear our songEvan is the boyfriend to my character Daxton. The two met at a gay bar, Daxton's first at that. They spent a long time talking to each other, so when the bar closed and they were forced out they ended up going home and sleeping together. After that they continued to see each other, and things got more and more serious. Daxton has no idea that Evan actually has an alcohol and drug problem, that has developed because of his writing and abilities. He struggled with his writing but after getting drunk, he realized he could come up with better stories. It was like these characters would appear to him and tell them their lives; little did he know these were ghosts. His ability to see ghosts only activates when he is drunk or high. I plan on Daxton finding out about his problems, especially since they have recently moved in with each other. I want both he and Daxton to be madly in love with each other. So that Evan will do whatever he can to try and hang onto Daxton, and Daxton won't be able to just break up with him when problems arise because his feelings are too strong.
Daxton does have a sister and best friend that you will need to plot with in order to figure out what their relationships are with Evan. Those characters are Belle and Holly, played by Angie and Jen respectively. So yeah, the idea of this character is for him to struggle with trying to write and stay sober for Daxton, but at the same time need to be able to write. Perhaps one day he'll find out he doesn't need to write stories from the dead, and find his own voice in his story telling. I want him to be bold and flirtatious, kind of balancing out Daxton who can be more shy and timid.
Daxton also has recently taken on "The Burden", so that'll be interesting to see how Evan can be there for him. Evan isn't aware yet but Daxton is a natural witch, something I'd like to get revealed in character at some point.Every night I'm dancing with your ghost
