The shop is in a small but deep building, the front exterior of it predominately dominated by a large window with the words "Sphinx Tear Studios" painted in calligraphic blue and black lettering with a silhouette of a seated greek sphinx beneath it. The interior has a small waiting room with a front desk, and a wall that separates the front from the client rooms for privacy. There is a door that allows access to the service rooms. Each room contains the appropriate chair and equipment needed to store and perform the task of tattoos and body piercings, and there is a total of three rooms. The shop's floors are hardwood, and the walls in the front red brick for a more aged look. The back is regular drywall painted in peacock blue with black trim, and there are various paintings hung throughout. Each service room has a designated tattoo artist who uses it, and thus each has a personal touch added to them. The waiting room has a display wall that show cases various examples of art from the current artists employed at the shop, with several binders for the clients to browse for further inspiration. This shop employs one secretary and three tattoo/piercing artists (including Pluto), and is open monday to friday.
